Hyland Boarding Facility is a family-oriented Equestrian Center located in Loudoun County, Virginia. We offer the finest care in Northern Virginia for your horse. Our resident manager/owner, and staff are all experienced horse people who care for every horse like it is their own. They regularly attend seminars and classes at the Morvan Park facility in Leesburg and around the area. Boarders may use any trainer of their choice. There are several that teach at our facility on a regular basis.
The facilities have been carefully laid out to provide maximum safety and utility. The three 10 stall barns feature oak half walls with iron bars on the upper half and sliding doors. The barns are wired with ground-fault electrical systems which provide electrical outlets in front of and above every stall for fans, clippers, etc. There is running water available in each aisle, an indoor wash rack with hot and cold running water, and an outdoor concrete wash pad. There are three outdoor riding rings and a 50' round pen. The round pen and main riding ring have all-weather footing and the ring is lighted. The other two are a grass riding ring and a standard size dressage ring. There are three tack rooms, an indoor heated bathroom, and picnic tables and grill which are used for boarder barbecues when the weather is nice.
There are 800 acres of trails and fields for riding. Horses are turned out into separate, lush, 30 acre pastures with run-ins, one each for mares, geldings and field boarders. To supplement grazing, horses are fed high-quality hay and feed. Simple feed supplements are administered at no charge. Every horse is checked daily from head to hoof for injury and/or lameness when they are brought in from the pasture.
